Shop BIPOC-Owned for Juneteenth!
On June 19th, we celebrate Juneteenth! This is the holiday commemorating the day in 1865 when the last enslaved people in the United States heard about the Emancipation Proclamation and were finally free. Here at Dr. Logan Speaks, we would love to encourage you to live out your commitment to racial justice and celebrate Juneteenth by supporting Black, Indigenous, and people-of-color-owned businesses. Here are some local Evanston/Chicago businesses to visit for all your shopping needs. Let’s make our new post-vaccination “normal” one that lifts up those who have been historically marginalized.
